Just how big is The Kart?

20 November 2009

We know that The Kart’s top section will take skis up to about 184cm, although we claim 180cm, just to be safe. Two pairs, or one pair and a snowboard (both with bindings) will fit in; as will two pairs of skis (with bindings) or multiple boards without bindings. There is also room for ski or snowboard boots if you can manage.

Just pack everything into our appropriate SnoKart AIRLINER lining bags first, with or without poles and wrap a little clothing around them to be extra safe. Zip up and now you’re ready to move on to packing the rest of your clothing.

Ski or snowboard boots will fit into The Kart: Base as will a helmet, both neatly wrapped in their Boot AIRLINER and Helmet AIRLINER bags. Fill the gaps with the rest of you snow clothing. Now move on to The Kart: Holdall. This module is ideal for stowing the rest of your clothes. Your glad rags, club wear, even pulling pants!

Use our Dry AIRLINER to pack away your smalls and keep them all together and as the trip goes by, you will find the Dry AIRLINER becomes perfect for isolating smelly used stuff… phew!

And that’s it, all ready to go!

So as we asked initially, “just how big is The Kart?” Well it’s plenty big enough and easy enough to carry around due to its unique modular construction.

We suggest having a browse through our website a bit more and looking at all the pics for a clearer idea.

Do drop us an e-mail if you have any queries.

Depending on the cargo bin size, 1-2 people work stacking the baggage/cargo tightly to minimize movement but without damaging the items. Once the bin is full or all items that need to be loaded, have been, cargo nets are put into place to keep items from moving. Wide body airplanes have container systems that we reload on the ground and then machines lift them up to the airplane door and load them inside. Floor locks are used to hold them in place. Everything is loaded with the airplanes weight and balance in mind.

It may be used for sitting or kneeling upon, or to soften the small metal bed or angularity of a chair or couch.

Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheel motor sport with small, open, four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits.
