The Good Ski Guide Attempt Epic European Ski & Board Challenge

11 March 2009

From Monday March 9, you can follow Team GSG as they attempt to travel over 2,000 miles across Europe in one of the greatest snow endurance tests yet.

Starting in SNO!zone Milton Keynes on Monday evening, Team GSG are hoping to make it 2,032 miles away in Poland by Saturday, while skiing and snowboarding in 10 countries along the way. From England, the team will fly to Turin on Tuesday morning to ski in Italy and France, before making their way to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland.

The team will be led by their own intrepid adventurer and USA editor Pietro Simonetti, who already holds two Guinness World Records for ski endurance tests.

Pietro will be joined by Deputy Publisher Gideon Reeves (skier) and Assistant Editor Karen Willmer (snowboarder, pictured below with her BoardRap), who will also be recording the tour every step of the way.

Follow their journey across Europe by checking out their site.

SnoKart were present at the start at the SNO!zone Milton Keynes to wish the team well.
