The Kart on the Great Ski Race
SnoKart joined forces with the Good Ski Guide this season for the Great Ski Race, providing the luggage for the Good Ski Guide endurance Team, who successfully skied 10 countries in Europe in 5 days.
The Team were amazed at how much the luggage helped them through their trials. The Kart was a special favourite with the team, because they could strap everything together easily to carry around the airports, but then use all the modules individually for easier storage in the car, and for taking into hotels.
Good Ski Guide’s Karen Willmer said: “I don’t know how I would have coped without The Kart because I easily stored my board and boots in the coffin module, then spread my clothes and other kit out among the other two modules.
“When we reached our overnight stops, it was always very late at night so we didn’t have time to rifle through all our kit to find anything, so all we needed to do was take the small hold-all module of The Kart in with us for the night and leave the rest in the car.”
Good Ski Guide’s Gideon Reeves added: “The Kart was so easy to store in the back of the car as it could come apart into different parts. They could then all be zipped together as one big bag to pull along through the airport, or zip them together into a wheely suitcase with separate ski bag. Just watch out for your baggage limits because The Kart is very spacious!”
SnoKart also provided Team GSG with Airliners, which they said kept all the wet equipment away from anything dry in the car.
“When we jumped off the slopes, we didn’t have much time before having to drive to the next destination and so the Airliners protected everything from dripping snow. When you’re cold and wet already, the last thing you need is a wet car, and so thanks to the Airliners we were fine,” said Karen.
“When I’m not in the mountains I’m often heading up to one of the snow domes, and carrying my board on public transport wrecks it before I even get there. SnoKart’s BoardRap means I can easily carry my board on my back, and all the edges and the base are completely protected. You can’t go wrong for £20!”
