About the Bag

If you own skis or a snowboard then the journey to the slopes can be a bit of a challenge. Many of us have used the long ‘coffin bag’ option, only to discover that these can be a real nightmare to handle! First you have to find a space big enough to open it up and then as you pack it you have to manoeuvre around the room without scuffing walls or bashing lights!

When fully laden this bag really does feel like a body bag! Getting it down the stairs round a dogleg isn’t much fun. Then to discover that the car or taxi is too short to accommodate it! Oh dear, its time to part un pack and repack at the airport!

Our signature bag, “The Kart” is designed to offer the solution. It takes the stress out of packing by offering five luggage combinations, being as flexible as needed. It breaks down into three individual modules, which are convenient to pack and move around, therefore easier to carry down the stairs and into the car. The base module can be wheeled and the holdall can be thrown over the shoulder. These two modules are designed to fit into the boot of an average car. Skis / snowboard are packed separately into the third module and this also fits easily into the car cabin. So no need for roof racks, estate cars or people carrier taxis!

The base and holdall can additionally be combined into a double deck wheelie, ideal also for summer use; whilst the skiboard module can be attached to give a carry-all solution. This makes for easy transport from car to airport check in and subject to airline restrictions you have the choice of checking in one (all combined) bag or a wheelie bag and separate skiboard bag.
