Proud to See Snow Camp's Jonjoe on BBC Ski Sunday! February 23 2017
We were really thrilled to see the awesome charity SNOW CAMP featured on last Sunday's BBC Ski Sunday tv programme!
We have been working with them for a few years now and help out in the little way that we can, whenever we can. We mainly provide the guys with our SnoKart bags to help them get over to the mountains.... many on their first trip and experience of being in the mountains!
Here's a pic of Jonjoe on his way to the slopes for the first time a couple of years ago!
Here is what the guys at Snow Camp themselves had to say:
"SNOW CAMP INSPIRE ON TV AND ONLINE
Over the last week we have had tremendous support from our wonderful community: from sharing and liking our posts on social media to personally emailing your friends, colleagues and family the links to our amazing news coverage. You have really helped us to reach a wider audience and encouraged new individuals and organisations to join our growing community, thank you! Just in case you missed any of the amazing coverage please have a look at the video and link here...
Last weekend, BBC2's Ski Sunday showcased our work by sharing the story of Snow-Camp young person, Jonjoe Boulter. It's an inspirational story and if you haven't seen it yet, please take 5 minutes out of your day to watch it. Or if you have, please share the footage with your friends, family and colleagues: we want do show people across the UK how snowsports can positively impact inner-city young people."

Steve and his Panda! November 14 2013
SnoKart snapper and all round Chamonix man, Steve recently returned to the UK from his home in Chamonix to collect his new (old) Panda. These are much loved in The Alps, but rarely seen here in Britain. We're not sure if it's the bamboo shortage or just a general lack of understanding how to care for these cherished mountain lovers.
Here is a close up pic of said Panda.....
Ellie Is All Set For A Full Winter Of Mogul Racing November 08 2013
(If you need any more info on The Olympics then have a look at the official website here).
Here's what she had to say about it:
'It’s been a hectic summer!
After working so hard on my physical strength and conditioning in the Spring, I spent pretty much all of August and September training 'down under' in Australia as well as the USA.
There were quite challenging conditions at times, but generally good winter snow., that allowed me to focus mainly on speed and air practice.
I then had a quick trip back to the UK before I was off again, this time to Zermatt Switzerland where I was training high up on the Glacier Paradise. At nearly 12,000 feet, it was great for altitude training too!
The full length course and conditions this year were just fantastic! Word spread around early that there was going to be an excellent training course set up and since there are now less than 100 days left until the Sochi Olympics, all of the world's World Cup teams and best of the rest were there; making for awesome training!
Each day felt like training before a World Cup event with the US, Canadians, French, German, Swiss, Swedish, Japanese, Russians,Norwegian, Finish, Czech and Korean teams all eyeballing each other!
I am so looking forward to the competition season ahead and now head out to the USA for some pre-season training.
I am excited to have met the Olympic qualification criteria for TeamGB already and the trick now is to make sure I remain in the top 30 in the World when the qualification window closes in January 2014!
